Director: Mohammad Farokhmanesh – partly animated documentary for children, 90 min
“How I wished I could just be like everyone else.” Children and young people growing up with mentally ill parents take a look at their young lives together and try to use the power of creativity to find a way through an upside-down world. In a child-friendly mixture of documentary and animated film, we immerse ourselves in an often frightening but also encouraging world of thought that opens up a different view of our society and how we deal with mental illness.
