Director: Mohammad Farokhmanesh – Documentary, 90 min, Germany 2007
This documentary takes a critical look at the contradictions in a modern Islamic society. Using Iran as an example, the current conflict between the generations is examined and the multi-layered picture of a schizophrenic society is drawn. Beyond the country’s specific problems, the ubiquitous desire of the population for freedom and change is illuminated.
