Director: Sabrina Roessel – short movie, 16 min, Germany 2014/15
A 5-year-old girl, whose mother is very ill, tries to understand what death means. Her process of coming to terms with it is set in motion when a bird flies into a window pane and dies. WIE EIN SCHMETTERLING portrays the dealing with death from a childlike, naïve perspective.
